Project Summary
The teacher - students collaborative project aims to enhance awareness of reproductive health rights, services to adolescent girls to undertake intensive educational activities to protect against STIs, unwanted pregnancies.
This project will help out students be able to share knowledge between themselves and experience from teachers and experts in the field.
Challenge
Reproductive Health is high on Ugandan Agenda, adolescents are the future of the nation, the group constitute 30% of the population-increasingly getting involved in production-reproduction. The SRH behavior of adolescents is often influenced by factors within themselves; knowledge, skills/attitudes, perceptions, poverty; culture, religion exert significant influence on them.
